Spring – Summer Bike Camps in West Vancouver & North Vancouver

Spring camps in the North Shore. Where do we start? Let’s start by saying that we have the best backyard in the world! No wonder why we have such a great variety of  Bike Camps to choose from. Surrounded by mountains with bike trails that range from easy rides to more challenging ones, here is a little information about the highlights of the different Spring Bike Camps we find in Vancouver. They all have something special to offer and having kids going through many of these bike camps I can honestly say that they have always been a great experience, done with safety in mind and inspiring the love for the sport.

Bike-Riding in North Vancouver

Flow Camps have two sets of Camps:  Trail Adventures for kids who are comfortable with basic bike handling skills and have ridden off-road trails before, but who want to discover what real mountain biking is all about and build their trail riding skills and confidence.
Freeride Adventures is for serious riders familiar with technical terrain, who want to discover new challenging trails and work on advanced skills such as drops, dirt jumps, log rides, and more! For children ages 10 +.

Pedalheads, wich is part of the Atlantis Set of programs, has a wider range of programs, starting with their new Biking Buddies where Parent/guardian participation is required, giving 2 to 3 years old a chance to be introduced to their first wheels experience. The next level is Trikes & Trainers where young riders come with their trikes, run bikes or bikes with training wheels and learn how to start, stop, steer and pedal. Finally , Levels 1-8 where kids progress at their own pace and have lots of chances to meet new friends and have a great time.

If you don’t mind leaving the North Shore or if you work over town, they have a great combo of Biking  and Swimming lessons @ the Jericho Hill Centre. This Combo runs for 5.5 hours, from 1:00 – 6:30pm.

Check our Spring Break Camps Tab to find out more about the Pedalheads Spring Break Camps running March 18th. to March 29th.

Their “Progression Sessions” are in big demand as well. These sessions take place once a week for four weeks.

Escape Adventures has a big array of courses set up to fit your child, regardless or their age or skill level. The Mini Rippers & Little Rippers is for 4-7 year old. The focus of this program is to get all of the riders off of their training wheels. There is a Spring Break Program as well as the regular spring program running every Wednesday or Friday in May and June.

The Extreme Riders Spring Break Camp is a 3 three day camp with freeride legend Brett Tippie. This skill building camp on Fromme Mountain and at the Inter River Bike Park.  Only Extreme Riders 1 and 2.
