Lions Club’s Pancake Breakfast – 7:30 a.m

Why not start the day with the Lions Club’s pancake breakfast on Grand Boulevard from 7:30 a.m. until quantities last.

North Shore Canada Day Parade – 10am

Stake out your spot early along the North Shore Canada Day Parade route. The parade starts at 10 am sharp,  and there will be lots of colourful floats, cultural groups and lots of goodies for the kids.
The parade begins at Grand Boulevard & 13th heading west toward Lonsdale. Then continues up Lonsdale, west on 17th Street and ends at Mahon Park, where you can get an up close look at the floats.

North Shore Canada Day Celebrations

July 1, 12-4pm
Waterfront Park, North Vancouver

The Rotary Club of Lions Gate will be hosting the North Vancouver Canada Day celebrations at Waterfront Park in North Vancouver. This is a free family-oriented event with a variety of activities, games and entertainment for all ages! From live multicultural performances to interactive crafts and activities, there is something for the whole family. there will also be some of Vancouver’s BEST food trucks. The celebrations are going green this year, so be sure to bring your own water bottle as there will be an on-site water wagon.

Canada Day Craft Market & Activities

Waterfront Park, North Vancouver

The North Vancouver Community Arts Council is hosting free art activities for kids, with artist/instructor Maureen Coles. Children will learn printmaking with a Canada theme, and create their very own print flags. There will also be an artisan craft market along the picturesque seawall.

Canada Day at Lynn Valley Village

Stop by Lynn Valley Village to celebrate Canada Day with fun day for the whole family. Entertainment will be provided by Steele Productions. There will be a vendor market on site and more!

West Vancouver – Canada Day

July 1, 2014  * 4:30-10:30pm
John Lawson Park, West Vancouver

There will be Canada Day Celebrations at John Lawson Park in West Vancouver. Pack your own a picnic, or try something from the community barbecue while enjoying live entertainment! Performers take the stage from 4:30-10:30 p.m. with firework show starting at 10:30 p.m.

Events include:

4:30–5:45 p.m. Wednesday at Ernie’s
6:00–6:50 p.m. West Vancouver Youth Band
6:50–7 p.m. Colour Party, singing of O Canada
7–8:30 p.m. SideOne first set
9–10:30 p.m. SideOne second set
10:30 p.m. FIREWORKS FINALE!

Fireworks – North & West Vancouver

The Canada Day fireworks show will begin 10:30 p.m. There will be two simultaneous fireworks shows, one off the shores of West Vancouver and one in the waterway between Canada Place and North Vancouver. The 25-minute spectacular display is viewable from multiple locations along the inlet including; West Vancouver (Ambleside and Dundarave), North Vancouver, Coal Harbour and Stanley Park. Music for the fireworks whos will be simulcast on Classic Rock 101.

Street Closures & Parking

General vehicle access along the waterfront may be restricted by road closures. Please consider public transit, cycling or walking. Local traffic accessing Ambleside and Dundarave will be asked to provide proof of residency. Additional Blue Bus service will be provided after the event.
